Sales with Ray.

This week I was with Ray from sales. Instead of him telling me about his clients in the office he decided to show me a few of the clients he has. While shadowing him I was able to learn what he does. To get new potential clients he drives around our local area where if he sees a new business coming soon, he talks to the owner and explains what he does and he's willing to help them get some advertising. He showed me a new dentist's office, an auto body shop, and a storage unit for his clients.

While shadowing Ray he was able to give me advice about what has he experienced in sales and told me that he went to school for digital marketing and fell in love with it. It honestly was nice to get out of the office for a bit and go out to look for new potential clients and network with other clients. Looking for new clients to me was like finding a good story to write about because you want to be the first person to hop on anything because someone might just beat you to it. I like the fact that he wasn't too forward with his clients and I really like the fact that sometimes he said he'll just drive to check up on his clients to make sure they're good and if they need anything he's on it.
